After a day in Aruba’s Renaissance Resort and Casino, we boarded the Seabourn Legend for a seven day cruise of the Antilles. We spent a short day in Aruba, Curacao, at sea, Grenadine Islands, St. Lucia, Dominica, Nevis (StKitts/Nevis) and St. Maarten. A full day at sea is when you spend sunning, reading, are bored to tears, become familiar with the ship, spend many painful hours wishing you were at home, or some of each. The Legend is a small ship by today’s standards with about 200 passengers. It features only suites for the guests with spacious sleeping/living areas, a bathroom large enough for two persons, and double doors onto a balcony that is too small for a chair. The food was equal to or better than the very best we have ever had.
