Christ’s birthplace in the Church of the Nativity is tied directly to the Church of St. Catherine in Bethlehem. A long wait in line to see the exact spot of his birth was not endured. The most novel aspect of the visit was entering the diminutive stone entryway which required avoiding both head and foot impediments. Every excursion requires the usual visit to the gift shop.
