This classic picture originated through two Mexican free-lance street vendors in Cabo San Lucas, each of whom carried one of the pictured creatures at lunchtime. With grandma watching from some distance, they loaded the magnificent creatures on my arms and head, then took a few pictures with my camera. I worried the creatures might be meat eaters, and was grateful to escape with my camera and ears intact.
The old monkey’s accumulated stories, papers and pictures are scattered among several websites with the most recent project being to tie these sites together so seamlessly that visiting monkeys may swing through the old monkey’s canopy from site to site without a care in the world. There are no ads in the monkey’s canopy. Enjoy!!
