Two thousand years ago, Ephesus was a port city with an estimated 250,000 residents.  Kusadasi was a little fishing village south along the Mediterranean sea.  Ephesus’ port filled with silt, and today is a ruins filled with tourists.  Today the little fishing village of  Kusadasi swells to a half-million folks in the summer by Turks, Europeans, and miscellaneous tourists.  As one of the tourists it is a pleasant introduction to Turkey, and a beautiful little port city. See what happens when you can’t get to the beach!!
