Lucca, Italy is overshadowed by its closest neighbor, Piza, a few miles to the south. The old city of Lucca is built within protective ancient walls, and is essentially a pedestrian center. Several picturesque structures are included within the old city, and bicycles have supplanted the automobile as a primary means of transportation. Even grandma is occasionally seen riding her bicycle around Lucca in her fur coat.
