Mayreau is a small island in the Grenadine group, of which St Vincent is the best known. We anchored off a narrow strip of land on the south end of the island. This strip had a crescent beach on both the windward (east) and the leeward (west) sides with a few hundred yards separating both beaches. This spot was ideal for setting up a day at the beach for the 200 folks on Seabourn’s Legend. It was a day of work for the crew of the Legend, who carted all the expected amenities ashore for the day. There were no tours, no taxis, and nothing else to do but spend a day in Paradise, but somebody has to do it.
