Nevis is probably the poorest, yet most picturesque island stop of the cruise. Covering only 36 square miles, most of it is a volcanic mountain in the middle. Walking around the little village produced an unexpected highlight during a stop in a local ice cream shop. A young mother was tending the store, while her daughter and the mother’s cousin were sitting nearby. We were entertained by the pair while we lapped at our ice cream cones before returning to the Legend.
