New England fall colors can not be surpassed if the time is right. In October 2002 a trip throughout the New England states with one of the early digital cameras proved to be just right. The maximum picture size was 640 pixels on the long dimension, but the colors were as good as any. The first two in Cape Cod at dusk were outstanding, one with a fisherman.
