The Museum of Natural History sits on the west side of Central Park. Its displays of wild life (birds and animals) in their natural habitats, fossils from the dinosaur era, and graphic scenes of various tribes and peoples of the western hemisphere provide excellent images of our ancestors. For history buffs, the images of humans coexisting with dinosaurs, and the equally fascinating development of primitive peoples’ lifestyles come alive in this very special place. It brings childlike curiosity out in everybody.
