In the center of the theater district is Times Square. Located along Broadway and 7th Avenue from 43rd Street to 47th Street, there colorful signs seem to light every square inch of building from street to sky. Many theaters are within walking distance. One special stop for dinner and piano jazz was Chez Josephine, sometimes referred to as Hell’s Kitchen. We were seated by the piano in this small French restaurant and enjoyed an outstanding dinner, piano jazz, and atmosphere one evening. Only one picture toward the bar documents this special event. The Top of the Rock, in the old Rockefeller Center with its famous gold statue, skating rink and restaurants finished a spectacular day of sight seeing.
