The Yardenit baptismal site on the Jordan River was a surprise attraction en-route to lunch at a Kibbutz. The entryway featured John’s baptism of Jesus as translated into many languages. The river itself is picturesque, and with the ancient Jewish and Christian history, was an outstanding stop on the tour. Many watched, many participated, and a few dipped their feet in the water’s edge. It included shopping, of course.
