Anchoring at Soufriere, about 40 miles south of the main port on St. Lucia, our party of four in a rental car opted to travel, on the wrong side of the road, to the northern tip of the island to visit with Llewellyn Xavier and his wife in their home-studio on the ridge of a mountain with views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean oceans. Between the magnificent home and views, Llewellyn’s art mastery, and the wild ride going and coming, we were relieved to catch the last two tenders back to the Legend before she set sail. Much of the island of St Lucia is a blurrrr.
